Under the Sycamore is a Celebration Theater film production. A black & white silent film slapstick comedy on the founding of Lansdowne. It WILL be funny and as historically inaccurate as possible.
Any re-enactors with their own costumes (American revolution era or earlier) are immediately cast.
All parts non-paid, no royalties involved.
Must sign liability and copyright waiver if cast.
Will shoot on Saturdays in August.
CAST NEEDED: for 4 scenes
One dog: (for all 4 scenes) male, mid-sized, non-descript, well-behaved, must lift leg when pees
The Sapling (shoot date: August 7, 9am-2pm)
Indians: need assortment of 6 men and women
Quakers: need assortment of 6 men and women
Wm Penn: middle age pale…preferably one who looks like the guy on the Quaker Oats box
The Publik House Incident of 1774
Need assortment of 6 men and women for pub patrons.
British soldiers: need at least 4 men who must be willing to take a pie in the face
2 kids (male or female) ages 8-10
Cute young couple willing to kiss

Need: 4 men ages 17 to 35 as construction workers
A Train Runs Through It
Young man: 19-to-30 must be attractive and athletic but on the small side. Must have an appetite for slapstick as he will get booted in the butt and abused. Knowledge of stage combat very helpful.
Young woman: Attractive but strong, 19-to-30 but will have to be age-appropriate with the young man.
Yard boss: male, middle-aged, heavy set, facial hair a plus
4 men ages 17 to 35 as construction workers (may double in The Founding)…no acting experience necessary
